Cookie Statement

Analytics is optional
PhishSure uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Accept analytics. Before that choice,
analytics and advertising consent are denied, automatic page views are disabled, no GA measurement requests are
made, and no _ga cookies are created. The Google tag library can still be visible in and downloaded
from the initial HTML when analytics is configured.
What is stored
| Item | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
phishsure_cookie_consent_v1 | A localStorage value recording accept or reject and the time of the choice. It remains until you clear site data. |
_ga and _ga_* | Google Analytics first-party identifiers created only after acceptance. Google Analytics normally retains these for up to two years unless the browser or site removes them sooner. |
What is measured after acceptance
We send a manual page view and fixed events for selecting “See how it works” or starting the extension download. We provide only a fixed page title and route. We do not send query strings, URL fragments, verification tokens, names, email addresses, message contents, internal request IDs, scan IDs, subscription IDs, or other record IDs.
Advertising remains disabled
ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization stay denied whether you
accept or reject analytics. Google signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the tag configuration.
Change your choice
Use “Cookie settings” below or in the site footer to reopen the banner. Rejecting updates Consent Mode immediately
and removes accessible _ga cookies. You can also clear this site’s local storage and cookies in your browser.
